Nineteen-year-old Rebecca Baard has experienced more than her share of sorrow, and now she is afraid to open her heart to love. Besides, no man has ever shown enough interest in her to come courting. So Rebecca's friends set out to remedy the situation, concocting social events to attract all the eligible bachelors in Blessing and advising her in the use of feminine wiles. When none of these efforts seem to work, Rebecca tries yet another tack, only to discover that even the best of intentions can't keep events from taking a surprising turn. Will Rebecca overcome her fears, or will she settle for something less than love?

The last in the series of Daughters of Blessings. Meeting Rebecca in the Red River of the North series we get to find out what happens to a neighbor girl. The complete series, thirteen books in all, is worth everyone's reading.

There is not a Lauraine Snelling book I have not enjoyed. This books show that the "best laid plans of women (especially) can go awry when love is involved. The Snellig books have enlightened me with my Norwegian heritage and the difficult times they endured leaving all their loved ones in Norway to come to "Amerika". The history is well documented as I relate to my ancestors.

I enjoyed Rebecca's Reward but I have read all of the Red River series of books so following up with this one is just keeping the story alive a little bit longer. I have enjoyed the whole series but wonder when Lauraine Snelling will run out of story lines. In this book some more of the Borklands' family are arriving in Blessing so it appears she has a few more novels left for this series. This book was good but I enjoyed the first 3 Daughters of Blessings a little more than this one.

Another good book and the last in this series.
All 4 books held my interest very well.
Looked forward to time to sit and read even if it was only for a few minutes at a time.

I found the book so good I didn't want to put it down once I started it. I am so glad I bought this book and I already have the other ones to this series and will re-read them over again.

Great book. I don't want to lay it down. Good account of history with a strong story line that promotes faith and character development.
